I have been a volunteer fire fighter for 19 years. I am an avid mountain biker, climber, and hiker. I have never had a light that even comes close to this light. It is well worth the money. All of the head lamps I have previously purchased would easily add up to this one and then some. On a recent search and rescue training this light came in very handy. It had gotten dark near the end of the training and, by standing up on a rock, I was able to illuminate 100 feet of rocky trail for my fellow rescuers to safely hike out. Many of them commented on the brightness of my light. The only real con I have for this light is that some times it is actually too bright. But it has a high, medium, and low setting to take care of that problem. I am extremely satisfied with this purchase. In fact I am thinking of saving up to purchase one of the other models as well. And I am also trying to convince my department to purchase some of these lights. I am convinced if it says Lupine it is well worth it!
