    New Revised 1100 lumens

Probably the most flexible light we have ever developed, with incredible possibilities. Now with 1100 lumens, Wilma is way brighter than standard competitors H.I.D. systems at 500 lumens, brighter than our well-known high-end H.I.D. light Edison. But there are many advantages to this LED system over standard H.I.D. systems.

LED’s are more durable, upgradeable as technology improves, dimmable to match specific needs, have longer life, and are able to flash, which is impossible with H.I.D. bike lights.

So why is the Wilma much better than other LED lights?

We don’t use a combination of 4 standard single collimated lenses . These are available in various sizes, beam patterns and angles but as usual, did not satisfy our demands.

Our lens was customized and developed by Lupine; therefore it works alot more efficiently than a standard optic. Our own lens made it possible to tune the beam pattern and provide an excellent light for night rides. By engineering a special lens array we were able to build a nice and tiny light with a 4 super-bright Cree XP-G LED/ 4-lens system.

On high beam the Wilma emits an amazingly bright light which easily illuminates demanding technical trails. At Lupine, we looked at every possible way of increasing light output. By using the best LED’s available, our own lens system, coated antireflection glass which gives an extra percentage in performance, and a massive amount of advanced electronics to maximize efficiency at all dimming levels, Lupine not only leads, but defines the class of Personal Extreme Sports and Rescue lighting systems.

A most astonishing characteristic of LEDs is the output on the lower beam settings. H.I.D. lights are only dimmable to a certain extend before they cut out. Halogen lights can be dimmed very easily but the light output and color is generally poor.

Title : Fantasitc piece of equipment
Comments : Wilma lights up the dark two lane rural highways I ride during my commute when I work late. At 920 lumens it''s very powerful keeping me safe as well as respected by drivers on those lonely darkened roads.

    Title : Wilma review
Comments : Brought my Wilma 5 home tonight. Strapped it onto my road bike and headed down the road, what a light!!! The quality of the product is unmatched. It looks like something our military special forces should be using for night ops. I could not believe how compact the battery is. I strapped it to my stem, that is how small it is. If you want the best buY the LUPINE!!!!!

    Title : Wilma 5
Comments : I''ve had the Wilma 5 for a few years now and love it! I use it for 24hrs races and nightly training rides all winter long. I''m a police bike patrol officer and use the light on my work bike instead of the light we were issued. The battery life rocks and the power of the light is so much brighter than any other light out there. You won''t be disappointed with the Wilma 5!!!!

    Title : Cree Wilma 5
Comments : A friend introduced me into a night ride in the fall of 09. We shared a pair of NiteRider 110 lumen lights, and I was hooked. Knowing nothing about lighting systems I tried NiteFlux 540/1000 lumen products, and a TridenX. After nothing but poor quality and always failing components with NiteFlux, I threw them away after only 3 months. I liked the TridenX, and kept it for my handle bars. Then purchased the Cree Wilma!! I thought the Triden was brite but WOW!! the Wilma blows the doors off of it.The beam pattern is perfect for my helmet with very good range you can't out ride.Had to program in a 30% power setting so as to not over power my Triden, at 55% it completely washes it out.So i''m now faced with a decision,do i get another Wilma with the soon to be released 20degree wide optic for the handlebars...
